UK-born Tbilisi-based songwriter, performer and activist Nick Hudson tours his latest album and book On The Eve Of Hope in a programme of queer love songs and poetry generated on the streets of Tbilisi over the last two years. Touring with Georgian guitarist Sandro Gigolashvili, we invite dialogue on the fractious situation in Georgia and related territories. Nick has enjoyed praise from the likes of Robert Wyatt, Mogwai, Faith No More, Xiu Xiu. A key theme of the new record is hope as an active agent of change.
